Our experiences were very mixed

Like one of the other reviewers we did a bit of research before buying this and didn't find many negative reviews. Here is our experience:The bike is not well made. One of the wheels was defective and the replacement was only marginally better. It doesn't spin evenly on its axis.The brakes can be easily misaligned - since the mudguard is attached to the brake mechanism if your child bumps this with their feet it can easily knock the brakes making them not work or continuously on.The model we received did not correspond to either the picture shown here or the instructions included. The brake was on the front not the rear. And there were no tools so you'll need your own spanners/pliers etc. In addition the contact numbers on the instructions were all dead - I tried both telephone numbers when trying to obtain a replacement wheel and they were both dead.So all of that said, my son loves the bike. But then I think he would probably like any balance bike really, he just loves riding a bike - any bike. And there are cheaper on the market. I'd probably look elsewhere next time.

my babys first bike

i did a lot of research into balane bikes and when i recieved this i was very happy. my daughter has not been given it as yet as her bday is not for a few weeks but i have put it together and was pleased. it was easy. its small, light, overall lovely the only thing is it has two bubbles in the paintwork which has made the paint come off but these are small and not enough for me to send it back.Good value for money lets hope my daughter loves it as much as me :)

Needed a balance bike for a small little one for his second birthday, chose this one after a lot of research and it was perfect, he absolutely loves it, good and sturdy should last more than just him, big fat tyres, brake, only issue was that I would have liked to choose the colour, a red one arrived that he is happy with but would have liked a choice.
