Good Bike

The bike arrived within 2 days and took around 20 minutes to add the front wheel, seat and pedals and play with the brakes. It's def. going to need a bit of tinkering with the brakes later on.Took it for a 5 mile ride on 'B' roads while snowing and really enjoyed the bike. I'm going to use it for commuting to work (20 mile round trip) so will be interesting to see how it fairs.It's a budget bike and I think it def represents good value. Bought at £122.I will be upgrading the seat with a gel seat later.Overall i'm really impressed with the bike.A few negatives are the gear changes could be faster and smoother and the rear brakes will leave a black marks on the white wheel. IMO the front brakes 'V' type are a bit rubbish, though i still think for the price its a bargain bike!

Good points and bad, but for the money I paid worth it

I got this cheap. It has its good points and bad, and had to send the first one back, as it had gear problems too, but I can live with it now as I just cycle to work and back. For the money, it's good, how long it will last, only time will tell!Good: Looks great, easy to put together, cheap, sturdy, nice feel to it:Bad: rubbish seat, doesn't like going into first or second gear, either misses it out or slips out (happened with both I got) This is a bit annoying at first but it's a cheap bike and not as if I need every gear anyway. Breaks are not the best (i'm sure someone who knew more about bikes than me could fiddle with this to make them much better) I will give it a few more trys then take to a shop to have get done.So in conclusion, if you are a bike enthusiast and everything has to be perfect, don't get this bike. If however, you just need a cheap bike to get you from A to B, then it's worth a shot, amazon are so good with returns, you can't go wrong really, and after all, it looks good, rides on the whole well and was cheap!
