Good for the price I paid.

Bike was partly assembled as described. Just to fix the peddles,seat post, handle-bar and then attach the bell,reflectors. I fixed a reflectors light, better diamondback peddles and changed to 2.0 Continental mountain king tyres. All came to 14.5Kgs.Had to adjust brakes.As one reviewer mentioned, peddles are cheap plastics. Seat stays are square shape which I did not quite like but is a minor issue. Label on the box says "Made in Italy" but a sticker on the right crank say "Made in China". Not sure the crank or the whole bike was made in China but again doesn't matter to me.I just wanted a bike to commute to work rainy or sunny than going on the expensive road bike. This bike is perfect for that.Had a trial run of 10 mile ride and gears are not as silky as Shimano Tiagra or Ultegra but shouldn't expect to be so for this price range. Ride itself is very good and the bike is willing to go with less effort. Comfortable seat and off road handling is very good. V Brakes were sticky and make creaky noise. Adjusted again and oiled the levers.

BEST BIKE IVE BOUGHT

Im 16 and I bought this bike about a month ago now, I saw it on littlewoods for £474 and liked the look of it but not the price so I put it in amazon and it came up at £175 and free delivery so I decided to buy it and I can honestly say its the best bike ive bought. ive had about 10 bikes all mountain, various makes, Raleigh, diamondback, Carrera, and I took a gamble on this bike as ive never heard of the make before but It paid off. it is really sturdy, and rides so smoothly.on assembly, the hardest thing I had to do was to put the seat post in, it was honestly so easy to put together and all the gears worked to perfection without having to adjust any of them.delivery was superfast, I used the free super saver delivery and it arrived within 2 days of purchase.couldn't be more pleased with it.my only criticism with it would be that it has plastic pedals, apart from that its a quality bike.I would seriously recommend it to anyone looking for a good mountain bike, its worth every penny!

Excellent bike for this price. Everything is sturdy, easy to use & very light weight. Smallest of issues, plastic peddles are the only cheap part & could do with abit of padding on seat but bought a gel cushion so thats fixed that. Happy with the purchase.
