Cracking bike

Just been out on my new bike today! It goes like a dream. Great wee bike that I got for cycling to and from work. Had a bit of a bother sorting the brakes but not too difficult, just a bit fiddly!

Nice inexpensive bike

I have received this today and assembled it straight away.Firstly, I have knocked off a star since only one allen key was supplied, but two sizes were needed for assembly. I don't feel this is a big problem though since there is no excuse for not owning a set of your own.I took it out for a quick test spin and was later confident enough to ride for about an hour. I already had a replacement saddle so can't comment on that but it looked better than the typical saddle provided with a bike in this price range.Overall very nice, quite light and as such, very quick. I am used to riding a mountain bike so it feels a bit odd riding a hybrid, but I am confident that I'll get used to it.Included are metal mudguards, the rear is pre fitted and the front is simple enough. This also comes with a pre installed pannier rack. These are nifty features despite not being overly important for me.To summarise, a really nice bike. I will update if any problems arise but everything seems good so far.

good road bike

I've had this bike for over 2 months now & have clocked up over 2000 miles on it.It's a road bike though it's also ideal for cycle tracks as well.The innertubes that come with the bike are sub standard but a good replacement pair cost me £5 from my local bike shop.The riding position is so much more upright than a mountain bike ,so no more aching bum & numb prostrate.I replaced the saddle with a larger one this is because I'm a big ex rugby player & not an average slim jim.The aluminium back wheel buckled (due to hitting a pot hole).So replacing that cost me £ 25.I also brought a Raleigh pannier for the rear rack which fits the bike perfectly.The pedal hub isn't a self contained type but I've not had any problems with it yet.My main worry is that the bikes fame is made in Tunisia & that's where all 5 of my nightmare mountainbikes had come from.The pedals are a bit naff so I replaced them with a metal pair.All in all a good commuter bike and road bike.Though I average about 50 miles a day on it ,so it's a cheap alternative to those pro hybrid bikes that are over £600.I would recommend it to any one who wants to get fit ,though the bike isn't designed for people over 19 stone (so the manual says).
