MAJOR PROBLEMS

The actual bike seems fine so 4 stars to Reflex on this score. I purchased it from Polaris Bikes however and this generated problems. It arrived with a totally inadequete manual (normal practice), and the Allen key did not fit the handlebar stem (so I used my own tool). After 2 days however the crank arm (connecting pedal to chainwheel axle) simple fell off and I fell onto the pavement. Had I fallen the other way under a lorry I'd not be writing this review. Their customer services ignored my request for the missing nut (which was a non-standard guage)and in the end I decided to return the bike. Dealing with Polaris was a total waste of time and money.

I bought this bike for my grandaughter to use for university and it fulfills the three main areas I wanted 1) it had to be sturdy enough to take city life 2) it was easy to maintain 3) it's wasn't to expensive to replace if stolen. The bike is a little heavy for a women's bike but my grandaughter loves it what more can I ask

£190 RRP for this bike?At £130 this bike is still twice the cost that it's worth.Heavy steel, cheapest components, build it yourself.Spend a bit more, go to a bike shop, get a bike fitted and built with a warranty.Save yourself the trouble.Horrible.
